Are you using Pinterest to gain more interest in your photography business? Are you using your Pinterest boards on various other social media applications?

Here are just 5 quick tips to help you maximize your Pinterest marketing to gain additional “followers” on this application. I will post more in the future!

5 Quick Tips for Pinterest

  1. Use a professional headshot on your Pinterest profile.
  2. Talk about it! Sounds easy, but if you are absolutely SWOONING over a pin, talk about it! Even thank the original pin owner for finding the pin and give props to the maker of the pin!
  3. Make sure your pins originate to the appropriate URL. Comment below if you need more clarification on how to do this.
  4. Organize your boards and keep appropriate pins to the appropriate boards. Separate your boards by holidays or alphabetically or any other way that is easy to the eyes. Make it look organized so that it is easy to find your pins.
  5. Title your boards as well as your main page. Give a description on what board is for what and even utilize some hashtags {#} to maximize your search exposure.
